The City of Inglewood Consolidated Disposal Services
Residential Service to begin August 1, 2012!
Over the last week or so, many of you should have now received information in the mail from Consolidated Disposal Services (CDS), the City of Inglewood ’s new Waste and Recycling Services Contractor effective August 1, 2012.
Several items were in that mailing that you received including:
1) A CDS Introductory Letter to Inglewood residents regarding the change to our Waste and Recycling Services along with information on the removal and replacement of our existing carts;
2) An Important Information Guide that includes information on your new collection service, Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs), Acceptable/Unacceptable Items that can be placed in each cart, Holiday Collection Schedule, Holiday Tree Recycling, Illegal Dumping/Abandoned Items* and the CDS Customer Service Number (800) 299-4898;
3) Additional Cart Request Postcard for ordering additional carts;
*SPECIAL NOTICE TO ALL RESIDENTS: Currently, Inglewood residents contact the City’s Public Works Department for the collection of any illegally dumped/abandoned items in alleys or on sidewalks. Beginning August 1, 2012, CDS will take over this service and it will NO LONGER be offered by the City. Arrangements can be made for pickup by calling the CDS Customer Service Number at (800) 299-4898 beginning August 1st.
Additional information on CDS and their outreach efforts to the Inglewood community will be provided as it becomes available.
