Inglewood/Aiport Area Chamber of Commerce eNewsletter
March 2010 Issue

Thank you to all of the very generous businesses who shared time with our Inglewood students on the recently held Job Shadow Day. We feel that this opportunity to experience “real life” career knowledge is invaluable to our young people in helping them to choose a realistic career path. All participating businesses will receive an invitation to a “Business Appreciation Luncheon” on March 24, and we hope you will attend.

Coming up on March 18, 2010 is our Annual State of the City Address. Our Speaker will be City Councilman Ralph Franklin. Councilman Franklin will update you on our City and give you information that you will need for your business success in the next year and beyond. Please reserve early. This event usually sells out.

Save May 6, 2010 for the Medal of Valor Luncheon. Twelve of our own Inglewood Officers will receive the Medal of Valor, and we should be there to honor them!

Look for your reservation form in this newsletter and via e-blast.

Finally – a call for help! The Chamber needs to recruit members to the Ambassador Committee. This is the Committee that plans and implements all of our special events. If you are interested, please call the Chamber office at 310/677-1121 and ask for Shannon.
