The Business Directory and Buyers Guide is a resource for not only Chamber members but for the residents of Inglewood and the Airport Area which the Chamber serves.
This guide depicts the quality goods and services that the Chamber members provide, not only to its residents, but also to those outside of the city, who because of Inglewood’s economic growth come to the city to shop.
Inglewood’s economic growth is a result of the city’s redevelopment strategy, which is continuing throughout the city. This growth can readily be seen along the Century Boulevard Corridor with future growth anticipated along the Imperial Highway Corridor. Further growth can be seen in the city’s housing development along 90th Street. This growth in business and housing gives Inglewood a bright economic forecast for the future.
The Chamber of Commerce will continue to work in partnership with the City’s Economic Development Agency to bring new businesses and quality services to the city.

A Chamber of Commerce is an action agency designed to meet community or area needs.
It is a voluntary organization of individuals and businesses who band together to advance
the commercial, financial, industrial and civic interests of a community or area. Among
other things it is a civic clearinghouse, a public relations counselor, legislative representative
at the local, state and national levels of government, an information bureau, and a research and
promotion medium.
The variety of a Chamber’s activities is virtually unlimited, depending on community needs
and the desire and ability of the Chamber to meet those needs. Its overall mission of community
development is determined by the organization’s program…its goals, usually called a Program of Work,
Blueprint for Action, Goals for Progress, Action Agenda or similar title.
